This blog may collect the following information:
- Your Name
- Your Contact information, such as an email address

When visitors leave comments on Nicole Navigates, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you leave a comment on Nicole Navigates, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment.
Articles on Nicole Navigates may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Nicole Navigates uses Google Analytics which is a third party service. Google Analytics collects standard internet log information and details of traffic, and visitor behaviour patterns. This information is used by Nicole Read to calculate information such as number of visitors in a year or in a month, plus the popularity of certain blog posts or content. This information is published on Nicole Navigates and in my media kit which but is not processed in a way that identifies individuals. We do not make, nor do we allow Google to make, any attempt to identify any individual accessing this website.
How long is information retained for?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on Nicole Navigates (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
