Can I get an amen? Outdoor dining is officially allowed from 12th April and Northamptonshire is getting ready!
I don’t know about you, but I have been MISSING visiting local cafes and restaurants to eat and drink! It’s definitely a social thing and I can’t wait to go and support the many businesses across Northamptonshire that have been closed for so long.
We may not be able to step inside, but from Monday 12th April, we will be allowed to sit in the outdoor dining areas that certain businesses have on site.
This is better than nothing! We are finally gaining some normality back!
I’ve divided it in sections from West Northamptonshire (which consists of Brackley, Towcester, Northampton and Daventry from April 1st) and North Northamptonshire (Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby & East Northants).
So to celebrate, I’ve put together a list of places that are open for outdoor dining. Are you ready? Get your pens and paper, or phone notes out and start planning!
West Northamptonshire
The Butchers Arms, Greens Norton
Caribbean Dutch Pot, Northampton – Everyday 3:30pm to 10pm
John Franklin’s, Northampton – from Tuesday 13th April
The Red Lion, Yardley Hastings
The Hopping Hare, Northampton – Open from Friday 16th April Friday to Sunday
Brooklyn Social, Northampton – Open Wednesday to Saturday from 14th April
St Giles Ale House – Open from Tuesday 13th April
North Northamptonshire
Old Market Inn, Kettering – Open from 16th April
Dexters Mediterranean Bar & Kitchen, Oundle
The Little R’ale House, Wellingborough
I’ll keep updating to this list when I hear of more openings as they are being announced all the time leading up to the big day!
If you’re as excited as me, let me know where you’ll be heading to from April 12th! Here’s to reuniting with friends (socially distanced) and eating and drinking local food & drink outside!
